My Contributions

The Hyperfactory took part in a large and lengthy pitch to the NZ Lotteries Commission that include some of out initial thinking through strategy, designs and prototypes all to illustrate our comprehensive knowledge in the mobility area. After a successful win my role was to work alongside the creative director currency designing the desktop site to design the mobile site from the initial creative ideas, user experience and interactivity through to the visual design as well as leading and mentoring a junior designer to create the final designs.

Outcome

The final outcome was a cutting edge mobile site/ iOS web app featuring a solid intuitive user experience through maintain a simple few UX components, springboard hidden menu, pop over and swappable panels, while mashing up with the creative idea of rags to riches with a twist of a fun carnival layout. Two of the main features is purching game tickets direct from your mobile which process as simple as possible by borrowing off the app store click once to active click twice to buy. The second is the animated draw experience, one the user has brought a ticket they are greeted with a friendly message and is directed to a animation of the ball rolling out and the successful numbers circled.
